During his three-day visit to the Kingdom, Prime Minister Sharif, who also performed Umrah, had the opportunity to meet with the Saudi leader. Accompanied by a delegation that included Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, he attended an Iftar dinner hosted by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Al-Safa Palace in Mecca.
According to a statement released by a Saudi state-run agency, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman organized an Iftar gathering at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Crown Prince of Bahrain. The event provided an opportunity for them to break their fast together, further fostering camaraderie and goodwill between the nations.
The Saudi Crown Prince warmly welcomed the Prime Minister and his delegation. Their discussions encompassed various topics, such as bilateral relations, mutual interests, and trade and investment affairs between the two nations.
Additionally, the Crown Prince extended a special invitation to the delegation for an Iftar gathering, which was graced by the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and members of the federal cabinet.
The Pakistani Prime Minister and key officials visited the Kingdom with the aim of bolstering ties and concluding development projects. Among these projects is the potential for Saudi investment in the Reko Diq project.
