"Sometimes, consumers face shortage of gas due to technical fault otherwise we are providing full pressure gas in schedule timings," he claimed.
The official said that consumers will get full pressure gas in schedule timings in winter.
However, they claim majority of areas are facing low to zero gas pressure even in schedule timings.
Rawalpindi Naanbhais Welfare Association (RNWA) President Muhammad Shafiq Qureshi said that all Naanbhais were using expensive cylinders in summer and winter.
The SNGPL was only sending exorbitant bills without gas, he strongly protested.
Majority of Naanbhias have removed their gas meters due to exorbitant bills without gas, he said. Talking to The News, consumers in Rawalpindi said that they were facing gas shortage even throughout summer season.
