Sydney Sweeney, who rose to fame after the success of her show Euphoria, is all set to star in the new movie adaptation of a New York Times' bestseller.
She and fellow actor Amanda Seyfried are co-starring in a film adaptation of the psychological thriller book named The Housemaid that was written by Freida McFadden.
Sydney Sweeney, who will play the mysterious housemaid Millie, revealed the big news in an Instagram video of herself while waving a copy of the 2022 New York Times bestseller to the beat of M83's song Solitude playing in the background.
Amanda, who will be playing wealthy married mother-of-one Nina Winchester also made an announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, Otober 8th.
"I just want to let you know that The Housemaid by Freida McFadden is coming to the big screen. Stay tuned," she wrote in the caption.
Fans went wild upon hearing the news and took to the actress’ comments to express their excitement.
A fan wrote, "WHAT???????? OMG! I literally pictured you as Millie while reading!"
Another echoed the sentiment, "LITERALLY WHO I IMAGINED AS MILLIE OMG."

This movie marks the first time the Euphoria actress and the Mean Girls alum will be working together, but they were spotted hanging out during the Met Gala festivities on May.
