Lady Gaga sends motivational message to fans to stay steadfast about their goals.
The Bad Romance singer responded to a TikTok video posted by a fan account, which featured a screenshot of a Facebook page created to bully Gaga.
The page was created by the Rain on Me songstress’ former schoolmates and was called, "Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous," referring to Gaga’s real name.
The video then switched to a recent photograph of the singer-actress with a list of all the awards she has earned over the years.
"Some people I went to college [with] made this way back when," Gaga revealed in the comments. This is why you can't give up when people doubt you or put you down — gotta keep going."
Gaga attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in the early 2000s, before dropping out and choosing to focus on her music career.
During this time, she began participating in small gigs throughout New York City and developed her stage name.
The Monster hitmaker then released her debut album, The Fame, in 2009, four years after quitting university. The album was a huge success, and featured hit tracks like Just Dance, and Paparazzi.
The album earned the star several award nominations including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for Poker Face.
Gaga has also ventured into the acting world, starring in the American Horror Story in 2015 and is currently promoting her latest acting project, Joker: Folie à Deux, where she plays Harley Quinn.
