One of the most widely used META-owned apps with two billion users globally, WhatsApp, will stop working on 35 older smartphone models by the end of this year.

This update, impacting both Android and iPhone users, is part of WhatsApp's ongoing efforts to focus on devices that can support its latest features and security updates.

Affected users should upgrade their smartphones to continue using the app without interruptions.

New WhatsApp requirements
