Perrie Edwards recently broke her silence on her 'heartbreaking' break-up with former band-mate Jesy Nelson.
During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, the Little Mix star, who starred in the popular BBC documentary titled Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out, admitted that she hasn't been in touch with her former friends and band-mates since years.
Speaking of their estrangement, she added: "We don't talk, and haven't done for a long time. It's really sad, it's heartbreaking. But sometimes these things happen and people decide they want to part ways, and that's absolutely fine."
"I would rather it went differently, but you can't control how things go," she added.
Additionally, Perrie heaped praise on former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole for being a great support to her over the years.
She said: "I love her. My manager, who used to manage her, had a birthday party recently, and I was just letting rip (about things that had happened to me). And Cheryl was like, 'Yep, tell me more.' She's just the best."
In addition, Edwards claimed that she is still hopeful about her friendship with Nelson despite the ways it ended.
