Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and owner of X, stated on social media that he plans to move the headquarters of both companies out of California and to Texas.

This decision comes as a result of Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) approving the new law that bars California school districts from making parents know when a child decides to switch gender.

“This is the last straw,” Musk wrote on X. “Because of this law and many other similar laws it has made attacks on both families and business, SpaceX will be moving its HQ from Hawthorne CA to Starbase TX. ” He also pointed out that X’s HQ based in San Francisco will also be relocating to Austin. “I did explain to Governor Newsom in simple terms about one year ago that such laws will compel families and companies to relocate to other states to shield their kids,” he continued.

According to People magazine in 2022, at the age of 18, Elon Musk’s daughter officially transitioned and took a new identity as Vivian Jenna Wilson, as she inherited her mom’s maiden name rather than Musk.

In a Financial Times interview in October 2022 regarding his denied relationship with his estranged transgender daughter, Musk replied, “Can’t win them all,” acknowledging the fact that he had good relations with all his children.

Musk has recently supported Trump, and according to his most recent past, he aims to donate $45 million monthly to the America PAC- a super PAC that supports Trump’s presidential bid. Trump is expected to revoke the trans rights right before the end of this year if he gets re-elected.
