Islamabad Rain Forecast Update
Expect light to moderate, scattered rain showers in the twin cities on Monday as a new weather system approaches, bringing a drop in temperatures.
According to the Met Office, rain with thunderstorms is likely at isolated locations in Islamabad over the next 12 hours.
Current Islamabad Temperature
Around noon, the temperature reached 29°C, but it is anticipated to decrease in the evening.
Humidity levels stood at approximately 67 percent in the city, with winds blowing at 10km/h. The maximum UV Index recorded was 5, indicating moderate conditions, with visibility extending to about 8km.

The air quality in the federal capital measured at 34, which falls in the “fair” category. It is generally acceptable for most individuals, though sensitive groups may experience minor to moderate symptoms with prolonged exposure.
A westerly wave prevails over the upper and western regions of the country, while a low-pressure area (LPA) is expected to move over South Sindh within the next 24 hours.
Anticipate rain, wind, and thundershowers in the Potohar region, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast and South Punjab, Southeast Sindh, Northeast Balochistan, and Kashmir. Heavy rainfall is expected at isolated locations in Southeast Sindh during the forecast period.
