Karachi – The Pakistani rupee maintained its upward trajectory against the US dollar, showing early morning gains in the interbank market on Wednesday.
Within the intraday trading session, the rupee was quoted at 293.80, marking an increase of Rs1.10.
On the previous day, the rupee had displayed strength against the US dollar for the tenth consecutive session, closing at 294.90.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange also commenced the day on a positive note, reflecting signs of economic recovery as the nation intensified its efforts to combat currency hoarding. However, persistent record-breaking inflation remains a cause of concern for the populace grappling with rising living costs.
